What was the highlight of Auramar Beach Resort
Well situated resort but don't expect too much
The location was excellent with a great beach filled with plenty of (pricey) sunbeds and umbrellas just down from the resort. The pools and access to sunbeds were great. Evening entertainment was great for kids up to around 10pm but not much for teenagers so we mostly used the free shuttle bus/taxi to head into Albufiera. Everywhere in the resort was spotless and the gardens were very well tended. Parking for the hire car was free and sufficient to ensure no problems when returning late. All the staff were great and the rooms were kept cleaned and serviced every day.
It's a bit unfair as this is only a 3-star resort but a few things did stand out as needing fixing. Their little gym (no aircon) had very basic equipment that was old and rusty and all the cardio equipment had faults (the treadmill overheated while I was using it for incline walking). The all-inclusive bar was quite limited and the evening essentially stopped at 11pm when the bar closed.

Some of the parts of the area is not clean enough. Not the room itself but more the public areas.

Comfortable and sunny holiday
Very good location right next to the beach! The beach is usually quiet as only people from the resort have access to this side of the beach and no one would walk all the way down from the other end. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were extremely clean!
The walk down to the beach is quite rocky and hilly, would not be suitable for elderly or disabled. The resort also has many steps. The food was average, typical all inclusive type of food it was nice but the food for lunch and dinner was the same on most days.
